Since having a Blendtec blender at home I am having much better relationship with veggies.
Although, I had my fridge piled up with green produce already before, now I am reaching out for it more often. A puree soup has become one of my fastfoods and not compaining about it 😆
If you are like me, loving the sweet dessert time and not being a huge fan of these three savoury meals of the day, I have something for you. Whether you are a single person or a mother of a few or simply a health enthusiast this recipe will be a life saver. All you need is about 3 minutes of preparation and 6 minutes of blending and ready it is. This soup recipe is perfect for sneaking in those green veggies even if your spouse or child is not a fan. The right balance makes it creamy and delicious. Tweak it a little with your favourite spices or change some veggies to your preference and you´ll be served with blended green & hot bowl of health.
I prefer to be flexible in my recipes. Most of the time I do not measure the ingredients precisely, therefore, I am a huge fan of this easy creamy cauly soup. The ingredients can vary a little bit, depending what I happen to have at home and also the quantities can slightly differ. In the end, the blender will make it hot and smooth anyways. Also, I enjoy the “Mmmmm” moment of taking the first spoonful to check how it came out this time. So don´t hesitate experimenting to get your perfect fastfood match! Nothing beats the Blendtec blender when it comes to making healthy and easy soups.
I used to make a huge pot of health food to survive most of the week. To have a ready-made good savoury choice in front of my eyes not to go straight to the desserts.
Now, on the other hand, I prefer to blend it as many times a day as I need. Always fresh, always warm, always surprisingly delicious😉
Adding this recipe video to show you how simple the process is.
I am using frozen cauliflower, celery, kale and carrot on the veggie side. Nutritional yeas and cashews in order to make it cheesy but if you are a non vegan then simply add your favourite cream cheese or some kind of hard cheese like Parmesan if you prefer and you will be still on the healthier side.
Simply blending it with water and a veggie cube but of course would be better to have a fresh broth.
Spice it up with herbs, garlic, onion or whatever your taste-buds crave for. Here, I didn´t add anything extra fancy, but you are always welcome to do so.
Topped it off with some sunflower seeds as I prefer without crutones.
Let me know if you try this recipe. I am always curious to hear your feedback!
This time I can bet that Blendtec will turn you into a soup lover too 😉
May your day be Green!
