TikTok Trend 😉

Few months ago this Feta Pasta video became a trend on TikTok. It became so popular that some countries ran out of feta cheese in their stores. I as well gave it a try and, though, I am not a pasta lover, this recipe became one of my staples. That is why it also found its way into my blog. Always sharing the recipes that won my heart.

Firstly, why I like this pasta recipe is because it is super easy to make, you do not have to be a master chef to make it happen. Secondly, because I can choose a different kind of pasta, like buckwheat, lentil or chickpea pasta that suits my preference more. There is a third reason too, you can add as many veggies you like to make it more nutritious 😉 Next time I will go for mushrooms!

I have made it both with feta and goat cheese, but I am sure a vegan feta version will do well too. I just couldn´t find it in my local stores and honestly, I am not a fan of overpriced veganised products, if I crave the thing, I prefer the original, unless its homemade version of my own.

Bake it, Boil it, Mash it, Mix it, Enjoy it!

As I said, this recipe is very easy. 
Firstly, bake the cheese with veggies, salt, herbs and olive oil for 30 min in 180°C. Meanwhile, boil your favourite pasta according to the instructions. Here I am using Alb-Gold Fit ´n´ Free Buckwheat pasta. Then, mix the baked veggies properly with the cheese, add the boiled and rinsed pasta and some leafy greens and stir to combine. Lastly, sprinkle some nutritional yeast on top and enjoy!

  • 300 g pasta Buckwehat pasta @alb_gold_teigwaren
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes
  • 200 g zucchini
  • 150 g feta cheese
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin olive oli
  • 2 handfuls arugula
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast


  • Cut zucchini and garlic into cubes.
  • Place feta cheese in the middle of a baking mold.
  • Around the cheese place all the veggies.
  • Sprinkle over with salt, pepper, herbs and olive oil.
  • Bake for 30 min in 180°C
  • Boil the pasta according to the instructions.
  • Take the mold from the oven, mash the tomatoes and cheese and stir well.
  • Add rinsed pasta and arugula, mix to combine.
  • Sprinkle nutritional east on top.


  • Serves 4-5 people
  • You can use your favourtie vegetables or mushrooms
  • Can substitute to vegan feta
  • I used glutenfree buckwheat pasta @alb_gold_teigwaren
  • I rarely measure salt, herbs and spices. Use according to your liking.
  • Instead of arugula you can use spinach and instead of thyme basilic.
