When Fitness meets Dessert

If you are like me who instead of 3 meals and a snack would prefer 3 desserts and a meal I created something for you 😆

These Protein Choco Bars are healthily delicious! Consisting of @pulsin pea protein and @bemoresuperfoods BeFit blend, both making this dessert nutritionwise more balanced and powerful. So, who says now you can´t have another dessert?! 

Powered by Plants, I mean Chocolate of course

Recipe is simple and doesn´t involve any baking. Raw, easy, nutritious, sweet and satisfying.

  • 1/2 cup dates 150g, soaked 30 min in hot water
  • 1 cup pea protein 100g, @pulsin 80%
  • 1/3 cup coconut flour 30g, @bemoresuperfoods
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder 20g
  • 2 tbsp BeFit superblend @bemoresuperfoods
  • 1/5 cup peanut butter 40g
  • 1/8 cup agave 30g
  • 1 1/3 cup water 300g


  • 1/2 cup coconut oil 100g, melted
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder 30g
  • 1/8 cup agave 30g



  • soak dates in hot water, you can use the soaking water later in the recipe
  • place the soaked dates and half of the water stated in the recipe into the food processor and blend until smooth
  • add all the rest of the ingredients and blend until well combined
  • press the batter into the mold and place into the freezer for 2 hours to harden


  • melt the coconut oil using the water bath method
  • add cacao powder and liquid sweetener, mix well and take off the heat
  • take the batter from the freezer, cut into bars and dip the bars one by one into the melted chocolate
  • decorate with peanut butter and cacao nibs
  • keep in the fridge or store in the freezer


  • mold 15x15cm, makes 14 bars
  • any protein blend will work as well as any superfood additions if not having the ones I used
  • can substitute peanut butter with other nut or seed butter, I just love the PB taste ;)
  • when dipping the bars into chocolate bare in mind the chocolate freezes fast around the cold bars, don´t take ages to rotate them or you will run out of chocolate to cover them all.
  • If the chocolate in the bowl gets too sticky/solid you can heat the bowl up again placing it shortly into the hot water.
